Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use this service to create a full online course?

🔘

Every course starts with written content - like a title, outline, or lesson plans. This would also include a sales page or course description you need to sell the course. All this before anything can be recorded on video or PowerPoint. So, to that point, you can use this service to create that content super fast, but you can’t record your video content in the platform. Our whole approach is to help creators ideate, and get going very quickly. I think we accomplished that so far - but you be the judge.

Where do you get the data?

🔘

Some of the larger learning platforms and book repositories (like Google’s) have APIs we can code to. Where they are not available, we visit the platforms the same way users do: scan the content data, dedupe, clean, and categorize it for use in the Meta Search engine. Before we release any data live to our customers, our engineer and product manager review the results.

How does the keyword research plan work?

🔘

The keyword research pack includes 10 keyword queries. We decided not to offer unlimited keyword planner searches to avoid charging you more for the platform upfront as there are users who do not use this particular feature very much.

Are you adding more course platform data?

🔘

Yes! We we are always looking to add quality course data. We just added the academic platform EdX.

Does it contain Non-English courses or markets?

🔘

We have all the courses the platforms have that are in these languages: Chinese, Dutch, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Thai, and Turkish.

How does the competition score work?

🔘

If the competition score for a keyword is low, why is the CPC high? The short answer is that CPC is not increased just by the number of competitors bidding for a particular keyword but by how much they actually bid for it. The longer answer is that low-competition keywords (usually long tail keywords) are gold to an advertiser. They will pay a high amount for these words since anyone searching for them is looking for their very specific product or service.
